  19. Mathematical Recreations article (about Langton's Ant) into my A2000, but
  20. it should fit nicely in a very small address space.  It has proved nearly
  21. infinitely amusing, once I extended the bitstrings to lengths past what it
  22. was feasible to test all possible configurations of on a 7.5 MHz
  23. processor.  {I wrote my copy in BENCHMARK Modula-2.]

  25. Interpreters:  Depending on how much memory your A1000 carries (the add on
  26. boxes allowed a lot, but it sounds like you have a pretty stock machine),
  27. you might or might not be able to use AmigaLogo, which is also a lot of
  28. fun, though a commercial package ($99 when I bought it); at max I think it
  29. uses 1M of RAM beyond the OS, but might well fit in a lot less.

  31. There was once a compiler for A1000 AmigaBasic, too; I doubt it is still
  32. around,  but you could look.
